Membership Rules & Venue Code of Conduct

Effective Date: 24th June 2026

These Membership Rules and Venue Code of Conduct form part of the terms of membership with Cue Sports Academy Ltd. By becoming a member, entering the venue, participating in activities, or attending events, you agree to comply with these rules.

  1. Purpose

Our aim is to provide a safe, welcoming, professional, and enjoyable environment for all members, guests, visitors, and staff.

All members are expected to act respectfully and responsibly while on the premises.

  1. Membership Eligibility

Members must:

  • Provide accurate personal information when applying.
  • Keep contact details up to date.
  • Comply with all venue rules and policies.
  • Present membership identification when requested by staff.

Membership remains the property of Cue Sports Academy Ltd and may be suspended or terminated in accordance with these rules.

  1. Member Responsibilities

Members must:

  • Treat staff, customers, and visitors with respect.
  • Follow reasonable instructions from management and staff.
  • Respect venue equipment and facilities.
  • Report accidents, hazards, or damaged equipment immediately.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of behaviour at all times.

Members are responsible for the conduct of any guests they bring to the venue.

  1. Guest Policy

Guests:

  • Must comply with all venue rules.
  • May be required to sign in.
  • Remain the responsibility of the sponsoring member while on the premises.

Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any guest.

  1. Respectful Behaviour

The following conduct is expected:

  • Courtesy towards staff and customers.
  • Good sportsmanship during games and competitions.
  • Respect for personal space and property.
  • Consideration for other customers enjoying the facilities.

We encourage a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for players of all abilities.

  1. Unacceptable Behaviour

The following behaviour is prohibited:

Abuse and Harassment

  • Verbal abuse.
  • Threatening behaviour.
  • Harassment or intimidation.
  • Discrimination based on protected characteristics.
  • Bullying of any kind.

Violence

  • Physical aggression.
  • Fighting.
  • Deliberate intimidation.
  • Possession of offensive weapons.

Criminal Activity

  • Theft.
  • Fraud.
  • Criminal damage.
  • Illegal drug use or supply.

Disruptive Conduct

  • Excessive swearing directed at others.
  • Deliberate disruption of events or competitions.
  • Refusal to follow staff instructions.
  • Behaviour that causes nuisance to other customers.
  1. Alcohol and Intoxication

As a licensed premises:

  • Alcohol may only be consumed in accordance with licensing laws.
  • Challenge 25 age verification applies.
  • Members must not purchase alcohol for persons under 18.

Management reserves the right to:

  • Refuse alcohol service.
  • Remove alcohol from customers.
  • Refuse entry.
  • Require customers to leave.

Any customer who appears intoxicated, aggressive, or disruptive may be removed from the premises without refund.

  1. Drugs

The possession, use, distribution, or supply of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.

Any suspected illegal activity may be reported to the police.

Membership may be terminated immediately for drug-related offences.

  1. Equipment and Facilities

Members must:

  • Use tables, cues, balls, and equipment responsibly.
  • Follow any usage instructions provided by staff.
  • Return equipment after use.
  • Report faults or damage immediately.

Members may be charged for deliberate or negligent damage.

  1. Dress Standards

Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone whose clothing is considered:

  • Offensive.
  • Unsafe.
  • Inappropriate for the venue environment.
  1. Health and Safety

Members must:

  • Observe all health and safety notices.
  • Use facilities safely and responsibly.
  • Follow emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Immediately report accidents or hazards.

Members participate in activities at their own risk unless otherwise required by law.

  1. Photography and Social Media

Customers may take casual photographs for personal use provided they:

  • Respect the privacy of others.
  • Do not disrupt activities.
  • Comply with staff instructions.

Photographing or filming individuals without consent may result in intervention by management.

The venue reserves the right to use photographs from organised events for promotional purposes where lawful.

  1. Competitions and League Play

Members participating in competitions must:

  • Follow tournament rules.
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
  • Respect officials and organisers.
  • Accept decisions made by tournament staff.

Unsporting conduct may result in disqualification.

  1. Membership Suspension or Termination

Management may suspend or terminate membership where a member:

  • Breaches these rules.
  • Behaves in a manner likely to damage the reputation of the venue.
  • Commits criminal or unlawful acts.
  • Endangers staff, customers, or property.
  • Repeatedly disregards staff instructions.

Serious misconduct may result in immediate termination without prior warning.

  1. Appeals

Members may submit a written appeal against suspension or termination within 14 days of notification.

Management’s decision following review shall be final.

  1. Liability

Members remain responsible for:

  • Their personal belongings.
  • Any guests they introduce.
  • Damage caused through their actions or negligence.

Cue Sports Academy Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property except where required by law.

  1. Amendments

Cue Sports Academy Ltd reserves the right to amend these Membership Rules and Venue Code of Conduct at any time.

The latest version will be available on our website and/or displayed within the venue.

Acknowledgement

By becoming a member, booking facilities, attending events, or entering the premises, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Membership Rules and Venue Code of Conduct.
